POLISH DAYS: back to nature

whenever i think nature, i always come up with green and leaves. i don't know why, but it never fails. so i used my green creme from yesterday and stamped yellow leaves on top of it.

2 coats sinful olympia stamped with mash plate 44 (with revlon colorstay buttercup)

i thought this yellow played perfectly with my pea-green creme. i resisted my usual temptation to stamp everything with either white or gold, and i'm glad i found this pale yellow. it made the stamping very subtle, which i liked.

i'm so glad i had an excuse to use this mash image! i don't know why i haven't tried it yet, because i really like it! it makes my nails look kind of like vintage wallpaper, which is always a good thing in my book. too bad you can't stamp walls, huh?

  5. This color combo is great. I have Buttercup and didn't realize that it would be a decent stamping polish. I'll have to remember that.

    1. Thanks! Yeah, I didn't know either until I messed around with it, and it was surprisingly opaque enough!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, the green definitely dried darker on my nails than in the bottle. . . . and the yellow stamping looked almost white in comparison, but i still liked it :).
