purple yourself together

i can't believe i waited so long to try this polish, because i freakin love it. purple and gold just look so fantastic together, don't you think? a perfect combo.

purple yourself together is a medium red-toned purple with lots of warm gold/copper shimmer. i'm seriously in love. this is everything i wanted pure ice purple reign to be. too bad purple reign was a monumental fail on me, even though swatches of it look gorgeous on other bloggers' fingers (don't you hate it when that happens??). it dried way too dark and swallowed up all the gorgeous copper shimmer as it dried. definitely not true of this baby. even though this was about a $7 polish, it's totally worth it (which is saying a lot for this cheapskate).

side note: am i the only girl alive who doesn't hate the shape of these bottles the way everyone else seems to? i admit they're not very efficient for storage, but at least they're not boring!
