i found a bunch of essie polishes on sale at walgreens today for only $2 each. amazing. i was about to amass a haul when i realized that i already had shades similar to all of them. . . . so in an impressive act of restraint, i didn't buy any of them. instead, i want to show you a $2 polish that looks like nothing else i own.

2 coats sinful gorgeous

i normally dislike duochromes (for some reason they make my head hurt. . . . weird), but i'm strangely drawn to this one. it was really hard to get the duochrome to show up on camera, even though it was very in-your-face in real life. this shade gorgeous shifts from aqua to teal to medium blue to violet at extreme angles. if you look at the last picture, you can see a little bit of the violet close to the cuticle.

another amazing $2 polish! i really love it more than i thought i would. very mermaid-y. i've been wanting peripera metallic green, or missha hgr01, or something of that ilk, but i think gorgeous has curbed that craving. what do you think- similar enough that i don't need both?
