boat basin

i'm feeling very summery and nautical today, so i thought i'd use my new blue basin.

1 coat nyc blue basin

how's that for a 94-cent one-coater?? pretty nifty, huh? i like this shade because it's somewhere on the spectrum between cobalt and navy. i love that it's most decidedly blue in any lighting (dark colors have a tendency to dry much darker on me, for whatever reason. . . . maybe because i'm super pale??).



i'm glad i bought this one. not the most flashy and unique of polishes, but definitely useful for layering over it, which is what i'll show you tomorrow! :)
