rise and shine

the name of today's polish is oh-so-ironic, because i don't think i've ever felt more tired in my life than i have this week. seriously, it's a fight to stay awake all day. and when i am awake, all i want to do is curl up on the couch and watch the food network lol. i really can't wait until i'm out of my 1st trimester and this fatigue goes away. . . .

most color-accurate

the first picture is a little too green, and the second is too blue-leaning. so imagine something right in between. rise and shine is a stunning almost-neon marine green shade with a very subtle silvery shimmer running through it. if you look closely at the second pic, you can see a hint of that.

now, i couldn't for the life of me get a color-accurate bottle shot. it kept turning bright turquoise! seriously, this was such a pain to photograph. so i cheated and am using a picture from this ebay seller:

for a neon, this wore surprisingly well! if you don't own this already, i say it's a must-have to add to your sinful collection.
