garter toss

the name of this polish is an unfortunate one. i really like this polish, but i really hate the ritual that is the garter toss. . . . the idea that a new husband awkwardly takes off a frilly white garter from around his new bride's thigh (in front of all their family and friends) and throws it at a single man (who now owns a sexy leg decoration from a married woman) is just preposterous. which is why i did not do it at my wedding. gross.

good thing the polish by the same name is decidedly not gross-

i bought this over the summer at rite aid for a little too much than i normally spend ($4.99). i don't know why i waited so long to try it because i love it. it's so soft and subtle, and not stark at all. it's definitely the softest and daintiest pastel that i own. 

i would call this more of a sage green than a mint green. . . .? maybe? i don't know, but whatever it is, i like it :). this was a limited edition polish over the summer, but i just found some on ebay, if you're interested!
