to celebrate the awesomeness that is boogie music, i decided to paint fireworks on my nails. and also because G from nouveau cheap was having a 4th of july nail art contest. i thought "earth, wind, and fireworks" went with both events. . . . right??
if you guessed that the base color is nyc skin tight denim creme, then you are correct! for the fireworks, i used the smallest dotting tool i own to apply sally hansen xtreme wear lacey lilac (purple) and revlon colorstay buttercup (yellow). i realized i didn't have any pink cremes in my collection (remember, i hate pink), so i mixed together some wet 'n wild french white creme and red red to make pink. for my thumb, i added a layer of wet 'n wild kaleidoscope to try to look like the night sky. kaleidoscope is a beautiful holographic glitter of varying sizes, and you can see from this next picture that i've had it for a while:

This is absolutely amazing!

I found your blog on the post Link Love from Bregje's blof Oooh, Shinies! and suddenly got very curious with all these dots (I love my dotting tools!).
I became a follower, and if you're interested, I'd be honored to receive your visit on my little polish corner!
